What stays free
Not for now. As a matter of what this site is.
Everything already built. Boards, the wiki, character sheets, dice, maps, sessions, handouts, the world layer and publishing. Nothing that works today moves behind a payment.
Being told things. Notifications are how a play-by-post site works at all. Selling them would be selling the cure for a defect.
Taking your campaign with you. One person runs this site in their spare time, and the honest answer to that is a door out, not a fee for using it. Exporting what you wrote costs nothing and will not start to.
Nothing is ever deleted. A campaign over a free limit when a subscription ends keeps every member, map and word it had. It simply stops taking new ones until it is back under, or subscribed again.
Storage means maps, handouts, and files brought over from Discord. Avatars and character portraits belong to whoever uploaded them rather than to any one campaign, so they are not counted against a campaign and never have been. An import is the one thing that fills this quickly: the writing it brings over is free and always will be, and it is the pictures posted alongside it that take room.
Cancel from your own settings, whenever you like. Premium is sold by Stripe as merchant of record, so your receipt and any tax due where you live are handled by them; the terms say what that means.
